How's it going?

My name is Esther Lindfors.

I’m a digital designer driven by curiosity and a strong belief that good design should feel both intuitive and intentional. I enjoy shaping ideas into clear, well-crafted experiences. If you’d like to know more about how I think and work, keep reading.

Who am I?

I’ve always been fascinated by how technology, design, and human behavior connect. To me, design is about creating experiences that not only look good, but work in real life and genuinely help the people using them.

My interest in design started in my teenage years through blog design and experimenting in Photoshop, long before I realized it could become a profession. Over time, that curiosity grew into a clear motivation to work with design as a way of solving real problems rather than just decorating surfaces.

During my bachelor’s studies in Digital Design, I explored different methods, tools, and ways of working, from user-centered design and research to prototyping and visual form. This gave me confidence in the process and a strong appreciation for balancing creative expression with usability and clarity.

I enjoy learning new things, turning ideas inside out, and collaborating with others. I believe the best solutions come from curiosity, creativity, and open conversations.

Right now, I’m looking forward to continuing to grow as a designer and contributing to projects where thoughtful design truly makes a difference.

Education

2022-2025

Digital Design, BS
Kristianstad University

A broad design education centered on digital products and interaction. I worked across research, interface design, prototyping, testing and concept development, building both creative and analytical skills.

2021-2021

Graphic Design
Krabbesholm Højskole

An experimental and concept-driven program focused on visual communication and creative exploration. In this program I developed my skills in Adobe Creative Suite, I also took part in several creative projects that were both challenging and educational.

2014-2017

Design & Product Development
Polhem

Introduced me to structured design processes, prototyping and product thinking, a foundation that still informs how I approach digital work. I developed my skills in various CAD programs and had the opportunity to design and 3D-print prototypes of my products.

More about me...

    • Exploring and learning about different cultures has shaped much of my life, and I’ve lived in and traveled to various corners of the world over the years.

    • Sports and nature is a big part of my life too, I enjoy skiing and hiking and I happily head out to surf the waves Sweden has to offer (which are actually more than you might think!).

    • I love meeting new people, few things are as wonderful as hearing about others’ experiences and getting their perspective on the world.

    • I also enjoy creating in my free time. Personal projects give me space to explore ideas, experiment, and work purely out of curiosity. Explore personal projects →
